The chapel is interdenominational and our panel of ministers are friendly and helpful.

The minister of your choice will meet with you before the event to prepare for the special occasion. Although most weddings are planned well in advance, we can accommodate weddings with a minister and organist in an unusually short period of time. (The same day)

You will have to provide us with a fully comprehensive guests list of ALL the guests invited to the wedding. This will allow your family and friends free access to the chapel. This guest list must be prepared and given to the Pat who runs the chapel, either by hand or fax at least a week before the wedding.

To ease the stress of your special day, simply contact us and we will help you with the planning and organising of your wedding.

Flow of events

The Victorian horse and carriage will re-live a bygone era, allowing you to arrive in style. The carriage, pulled by a beautifully groomed horse, will collect you at the main gate or alternatively at the Hotel and will come trotting down the road to bring the bride and her Father to meet with her husband to be.

The bell on the wall outside the church will herald the arrival of the bride.

A notice board outside the church will inform all the Gold Reef City visitors of the scheduled weddings for the day.

Petals and streamers are allowed outside the chapel after the ceremony.
(No confetti or polystyrene balls.)

The carriage will be waiting for you as you leave the church as man and wife and will trot off into the sunset to make the start of your life together very special.
